Justice through Creativity...
I just wrote this in response to another post. I know my friends who supported Trump for president will disagree with me, but I offer this opinion after seeing how the president elect has made so many important foreign policy blunders, and how he is skidding so recklessly into conflicts of interest recently. In the spirit of healthy debate, I welcome reasoned, sane dialogue... but, sadly, expect the same emotional arguments that got us into this train wreck of an election. --------
I have, and will continue to maintain that Trump is dangerous to our country. Using sophisticated Nazi-era propaganda techniques, many of our fellow citizens have been manipulated into a belief that government is the root of evil and 'political correctness' is its spawn. The reaction? Elect someone who is a 'non-political outsider' to be the president of our great nation. This is partially the result of ejecting civics and history from our school curriculum. We simply have a politically naive electorate that does not understand the difference between governance and policy, nor the consequences of choosing representative government based on popularity or ideology rather than experience and maturity. Handing the highest office in the world to the lowest common denominator among us because we want to 'shake things up' will prove to cause us irreparable harm. Donald Trump is, using his own favorite word, a disaster.

About this blog. This blog is a place where many of the confluences of my life can be shared. I am, at the core, a creative person. I approach everything from that basis... whether composing symphonies, playing the cello, being a serial entrepreneur, writing sermons and essays, flying airplanes, or creating software apps. I am deeply passionate about creativity, issues of social justice, and spiritual enrichment. These are fundamental to everything I do. Welcome to my journey! Categories
